# Mobile Detailer Launch Kit — content workbook

Draft product component v0.1. For a freelance website builder and their detailing client. Replace every bracketed field with verified information before publishing. This workbook accompanies the Afterglow website evaluation kit. Booking, payment processing and hosting services are separate.

## 1. Collect the business facts

| Detail | Client's answer |
|---|---|
| Business name | [Name] |
| Primary city | [City] |
| Areas actually served | [Cities/neighborhoods/postcodes] |
| Phone number | [Number] |
| Can this number receive booking texts? | [Yes/no] |
| Existing booking URL, if any | [URL] |
| Customer-facing hours | [Days/times/time zone] |
| Where the work takes place | [Customer driveway/workplace/shop] |
| Water and electricity requirements | [What the customer must provide, if anything] |
| Parking/access requirements | [Space/access needed] |
| Weather policy | [Actual rescheduling process] |
| How a booking becomes confirmed | [Confirmation process] |
| Payment methods and timing | [Actual accepted methods/timing] |

Do not publish a home address unless the client actually wants customers visiting it. List the service area instead where appropriate.

## 2. Define the service menu

Complete one row per actual offering. Do not advertise a starting price the business will not honor under the stated conditions.

| Offering | Includes | Does not include | Vehicle category | Starting price | Typical duration | Requires inspection? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [Exterior service] | [Specific work] | [Exclusions] | [Vehicle types] | [Amount] | [Range] | [Yes/no] |
| [Interior service] | [Specific work] | [Exclusions] | [Vehicle types] | [Amount] | [Range] | [Yes/no] |
| [Full service] | [Specific work] | [Exclusions] | [Vehicle types] | [Amount] | [Range] | [Yes/no] |

List add-ons separately: pet hair removal, excessive soil, stain treatment or other work only if the business actually offers them. Record how each is priced and whether approval is required before additional work.

## 3. Draft the homepage

### Main heading

Mobile car detailing in [City].

### Supporting copy

Interior and exterior detailing at [supported location type]. Compare our services, check your area, and [book online/request an estimate] for your vehicle.

### Primary button

[View available appointments / Request an estimate]

Use “View available appointments” only if the destination really shows bookable availability. Use “Request an estimate” when the business must inspect the vehicle or confirm the scope first.

### Secondary action

Call [formatted phone number].

### Service-area copy

We serve [verified areas]. For addresses outside these areas, [actual contact/process]. [State any travel charge or minimum booking requirement accurately.]

### Service card pattern

**[Service name]**

For [specific customer need]. Includes [three to five concrete tasks].

From [price] for [vehicle category and relevant condition]. Allow approximately [duration]. [Additional work requires a separate quote, if that is the actual policy.]

Button: [Choose this service / Ask about this service]

## 4. Explain what happens next

1. Tell us your vehicle, location and preferred service.
2. We [confirm availability/provide an estimate] through [actual channel].
3. Prepare [actual access/water/power requirements].
4. After the detail, we [actual inspection/payment process].

A submitted inquiry is not a confirmed appointment unless the booking system explicitly confirms it. Explain that distinction wherever an inquiry is collected.

## 5. Answer the practical questions

**Do I need to provide water or electricity?**

[Describe the business's real setup. Do not assume every mobile detailer is self-contained.]

**What affects the final price?**

[State actual factors such as vehicle size, condition or chosen services, and how approval of extra charges works.]

**How long will it take?**

[Give the actual service-dependent range and explain how customers receive a more specific estimate.]

**What happens if the weather changes?**

[Give the actual weather/rescheduling process.]

**Can you remove every stain or scratch?**

[Explain the actual scope and limitations. Do not promise complete removal or restoration when it cannot be guaranteed.]

**How do I cancel or reschedule?**

[Insert the client's actual policy, including notice requirements and any applicable charges.]

## 6. Prepare genuine proof of work

For each image, record the owner, permission to use it, service performed and accurate caption. Avoid displaying recognizable customer details or number plates without appropriate permission. Before/after pairs should depict the same actual job with comparable framing; illustrative images must not be presented as customer results.

For reviews, preserve the customer's meaning, source and any required permission. If there are no reviews yet, omit the section. Do not fill empty review cards with fictional customers.
