ONE COMPLETE FICTIONAL PROJECT
Make a working copy.
Try the full editing path before using real client content. This exercise is for private evaluation and keeps contact actions disabled.
Your sample brief
Rename the example business to North Steady, set its city to Longmont and change the first service to Personalized care with a starting price of 125.50. Keep its scope internally consistent. These are fictional values, not recommended pricing.
For this design, pay attention to service-area-first residential enquiries. Review the preparation notes and exclusions for the actual business rather than promising outcomes.
1. Save and reopen settings
- Open setup and enter the fictional changes.
- For validation, select calls and texts and use the fictional test number +13035550123. Do not call it. Demo mode stays enabled.
- Review all settings, download the file and check that it exists before confirming it was saved.
- Reopen the actual file in this same setup form and apply it. Confirm your business name and price.
2. Install in your working copy
Extract the evaluation ZIP and preserve an untouched original. In a separate copy, replace website/site-config.js with the actual saved file, removing any browser-added number from its name. Open all three website pages and check the business name. On home and services, also check Personalized care and $125.50 (fictional test value only). Reopening in setup alone does not install the file.
3. Keep an editable handoff
Open the handoff builder. Record North Steady and a remaining task, such as “Confirm the client’s actual service scope.” Save the editable draft, check the file, reopen and apply it. Keep all unperformed checks unchecked. A readable client document cannot reopen the draft.
4. Review the result
Follow every service link; check narrow and wide layouts, enlarged text and keyboard focus. Keep generated-image disclosure. Use the recovery instructions if a settings file will not load. This exercise does not validate demand, grant commercial use, publish a site or send a message.
