Use the summary at the top of the setup form. Each link focuses the field that needs correcting. Your other entries stay in place. Check the contact link, image path, required business details and service prices, then try the download again. An optional blank price means estimate-only; zero means an actual zero price.

The forms have no autosave. Download your settings or editable handoff draft, check that the complete file is saved, and confirm that version in the form. Showing or copying text does not confirm a save. Edits invalidate an earlier confirmation. Your browser may warn before leaving, but behavior varies by device; do not rely on a warning. A readable client document cannot reopen an editing session.

Choose “Save editable draft” in the handoff builder. Keep its .json file, then select it under “Pick up where you left off” in this same kit’s builder. Review the project name and choose “Use this draft.” Save current work first: applying replaces your entries. The readable document and website settings are different files. Saved checkboxes record earlier notes, not newly performed checks.

Setup prepares a file; it does not change the website automatically. Install the saved site-config.js in your working website folder, keeping a backup first. Remove browser-added filename suffixes when installing. Refresh the homepage and services page in that working copy. Follow the installation steps and reopen the saved settings in setup to verify them.

If you saved settings, reopen the form, choose that file, review the business name and apply it. Without a saved export or complete text backup, closed-page entries cannot be recovered by the kit. Save before leaving or changing pages.

Use a settings export from this same kit. Different kits’ settings are not interchangeable, and the importer does not run arbitrary handwritten JavaScript. Preserve your edited file and follow the settings recovery instructions. Restoring the original example does not recover unsaved edits.

Place the actual image in website/assets. The setup path must match its filename and capitalization, such as assets/client-photo.jpg. Settings contain a path, not an uploaded image. Keep the folder structure intact and retain the illustration disclosure if you keep the example image.

Evaluation mode intentionally disables contact actions. Keep it enabled during evaluation. Commercial-use approval, client-approved details and an authorized check of the real destination are required before a business launch. An inquiry is not a confirmed appointment.

Use its public HTTPS inquiry or booking page, not a private dashboard URL. A public Korvo intake link and calls or texts are other supported routes. Korvo requires a separate workspace. The kit links to the chosen tool; it does not synchronize records or supply a booking system.

An empty starting price means estimate-only work. Enter a verified price only when the business wants to display one. Check currency, scope and exclusions as well. Example prices are not a recommended pricing strategy.

Settings update configured business fields. Fixed copy is in website/index.html and website/services.html. This design’s visual overrides are in website/signature.css. Keep backups and review both pages after editing. See the setup guide for the complete workflow.

Start by installing settings with the correct business name, service description and introduction. On page load, website/template.js derives the browser title and description from those settings, so editing only the HTML metadata is not enough for a custom page-specific result. A builder can coordinate changes to the HTML and that initialization code, keeping backups and preserving the remaining script. Reopen both pages and inspect their final titles and descriptions. The shared page-details editor and its separate toolkit offer another workflow, but are not included in this website kit.

After approval, publish the contents of website with index.html at the site root. Keep asset paths intact. Do not publish the ZIP, whole product folder or private client documents. Domains, hosting and ongoing service costs are separate.

This evaluation includes editable files and instructions for builders comfortable with HTML and CSS. Installation, custom design, hosting administration and ongoing maintenance are separate work. A paid support scope and verified contact channel must be published before sales open.

Keep the original archive and extract it into a new folder. Start with Start here, confirm it identifies Afterglow, and open both website pages. The included manifest.json lists packaged files and their byte hashes for a technical comparison. Opening pages alone does not prove that every file is intact or establish purchase rights. The shared download checker is not included in this kit.
