CABIN / THE KITSetup and installation guide

FROM DOWNLOAD TO HANDOFF

Make your copy
ready to review.

Three focused tools for your Cabin project. They run on your device and keep your original files intact. Start with the task you need.

01 / BEFORE YOU EXTRACT

Check the original ZIP.

Compare the complete archive with the current Cabin evaluation download. A renamed copy is fine; an edited or re-zipped copy will have different bytes. A match checks the file, not a purchase or a commercial license.

02 / AFTER YOUR BUSINESS SETTINGS

Give each page its own title.

Open the homepage or services HTML from a separate working copy. Edit its browser-tab title and page description, review the plain-text preview, then save and reopen the revised file. Visible headings and services remain controlled by setup.

Install the saved page with its exact filename in your working website folder. Keep its scripts, settings and images beside it, then check the tab title after the page finishes loading.

The optional toolkit is a separate download. It contains the editor, not your website or current edits.

03 / BEFORE A FUTURE PUBLIC COPY

Separate the website from the paperwork.

Select only the website folder. This check reads relative names and sizes to flag missing pages and working documents that belong elsewhere. It does not open the files, find secrets inside them or verify the actual design.

  1. Keep your original ZIP and a complete private working kit.
  2. Keep handoff drafts, backups and workbooks outside the proposed public website folder.
  3. Keep both website pages, site-config.js, scripts, styles and images together. Supplied setup and practice pages are intentional.
  4. Review contents, links and settings yourself. A clean file list is not permission to publish.

Keep a path back.

If a tool refuses a file, preserve your original and current edits. Confirm the chosen design and page before trying again. The settings recovery guide covers damaged settings; the installation guide explains browser-added filename numbers and working folders.

Cabin is a private evaluation prototype. These tools do not grant commercial use, send a customer inquiry, transfer accounts or publish a site. Save confirmations record your report; reopen saved files to verify them.
