Explore, customize and hand over a fictional detailing project. Work locally and keep the original kit as your recovery copy.
1. Extract and make a copy
Extract the ZIP using your device’s archive tool. Open START-HERE.html in the extracted folder. Keep that original folder untouched and duplicate it before editing. The website folder contains the public pages; documents contains private project tools.
2. Try a small customization
Follow the practice brief, then open setup. Download your settings, check the actual file and reopen it in the form. Install it in the working website folder as site-config.js. See the exact installation steps.
3. Check both pages and save a handoff
Open your working homepage and services page. Check the changed business, service and estimate. Use the handoff builder to record remaining work; save and reopen an editable draft before closing.
If something goes wrong
Keep the edited file and original kit. Restore settings from the original copy when the website cannot load. The guide also covers failed downloads, selectable text backups and content review. The setup and handoff forms do not send or autosave your entries.
